This series is done through layering and processing many samples of drum sounds i synthesised using various plugins namely xoxo's vst's and zynaddsubfx mixed with some old hardware samples i made a long time ago. There are 4 packs of the same series : perc snare kick and hats all using the same process.

A sound i created on accident while going through some field recordings i took in dr. Evermor's park in north freedom, wi. Reminds me of a drum hit mixed with a flute, although it's just scrap metal. Recorded 10/16/2016, edited 2/16/17.

A heartbeat sound i made, complete with some gurgling, blood-rushing sounds. Just uploaded a version without the gurgling, in case you prefer the way that sounds. To make this, i took a kick-drum sample and a snare-drum sample, and made a loop of kick-snare, kick-snare, kick-snare, over and over. After that, i eq'd out the more drum-like parts of each sample, added reverb to dull it, a chorus plugin and some compression to remove some of the drums' attack. . . Basically processed the hell out of them. To get the blood gurgling sound, i filled a water-bottle almost all the way full and turned it sideways, so i had a massive air-bubble floating around. I then tilted the bottle back and forth in front of my blue yeti usb condenser mic, so you could hear the air-bubble swishing. I had to be pretty gentle, because if you rock the horizontal bottle too much, the bubble moves too fast and makes a fake-sounding "gloomp. ". When i was happy with it, i mixed the heartbeat sound and the gurgling sounds so they'd work well together. Both the sounds were in mono, so i used a free plugin called wok ms-t on both of them to create a fake hard-panned stereo effect. I wanted it to sound like you'd been running, and were hearing the heartbeat in your ears. I think it turned out pretty cool. .

Hitting what was either an old lantern or a bug zapper lost in some old woods in various ways (on my palm, knuckle, with a stick, etc) to make different percussion or niche snare noises.

I used some compression and a bit of eq to make it sound like something you'll hear on a gaming console machine. However, the audio spikes from the high freq took me a while to cut off. Can't figure out why it does that but in my opinion it still sounds good :).

A short segment as i played along with the ramones' song: my brain is hanging upside down. I recorded it on my roland td-9 module and edited it in sony sound forge and sony vegas. There's a slight buzz that i get and i tried to clean it up as best i could with noise reduction. Someday i'll figure out what is causing the buzz. Please comment on what you may use it for. Experimental abstract ethno latin style guitar slow cinematic world modern music - mastered89bpm.

Recorded the sounds with a zoom h1n in my apartment. Snare is a flick with my fingers on a wooden door + added snarebuzz in post production to it, kick is a hit with my hand on the wall produced some nice lows. I had to create an another track for just the transient, but essentially made from the same sound. Hihat is the stove's clicking sound with added reverb. Post production made in ableton live lite with mostly the integrated audio effects, but i also used some free plugins to create this drum loop. I hope you enjoy, it's 100% royalty-free.

I was bored and made this loop on fl studio (jumpscare warning at the end). This is a beat i made using the percussion presets form fab filter 1 cm synth for a track i was writing. Each hit was then loaded into abletons impulse drum sampler and tweaked for my pleasure. This is a set of drum set interpretations of the baião pattern. Kit used was a 16" kick, dampened, but not stuffed to sound more like a surdo, a 14" ludwig snare, one riveted ride cymbal and hi hats. Simply recorded with a single sm57 but they are clear sounding loops. I'd be interested in hearing anything you use them in :).

Layered out of an sks, ak47, uzi and a snare drum with a metallic texture. A short decayed 808 kick drum is occupying the sub frequencies. A bolt mechanic layer added before and after the shot transient. Two echo/reverbs were added for the stereo width. Shell eject layer added. We needed some drum cadences for julius caesar and i was unable to find any i really liked so we grabbed our orchestra drummer here at the theater and we came up with 13 different cadences for us including jfk's funeral march. Most are done on snare and then again on a single tom, easily looped for duration. They have no verb on them so you can add as you desire for your space. I used bdx for the kick, sent through disto-fx and various eq plugins. Cymbalistic was used for the hihats, with further eq and gating placed on it. The snare was from a free sample pack (i can't remember the name of) sent through a resonator, eq plugins and some soft-clippers to give it a bigger sound. Clipmax was used on the master channel.

This first loop in series is a simple, beat in 4/4 time run at 140 bpm. It features an extremely thick bass sound with general techno patterns you might hear in normal techno music. The pack is aimed for general use in any type of techno, trance music. The loop was created mainly with reaktor's arobic.

This is the sound of a snare drum after i added reverb to it and slowed it down about -81 percent. By the way, this morning, i purchased a very interesting book entitled "harmonograph: a visual guide to the mathematics of music" by anthony ashton. I created this 64 bar loop in bitwig using a sample loop that comes free with the software, next i used a multiband fx plugin with automation controlling amounts and cutoff's which then in turn had various effects on the seperate bands and as you can clearly hear i used the glitch2 vst mostly on the mid frequencies, which in turn had automation controlling/changing it's presets.

Whenever i'm bored i tend to beatbox, so i decided to multitrack myself one day in the hopes of creating a full song out of it.
